okay i don’t know if you’ve noticed it by now, but i have a bit of a travel routine. i always fly out of NY in the black mesh dress, and i always fly back into NY in the flesh mesh dress (mess). i don’t know why, i just do.
as much as i really enjoy visiting Miami, it is pretty nice to click your heels… there’s no place like home… there’s no place like home.

this dress is actually this evening gown, just dumbed down by temporarily removing the beaded straps and whatnot. and this jacket is one of the first pieces i ever made, long before i even became Geld Iaz— it’s essentially the reason i decided i never ever ever wanted to tailor ever again, holy cow what a pain in the ass it was.
just running errands and things. really i wanted to check out these shoes at Burberry Prorsum in SoHo, but they didn’t have them in stock (thank gawd). but siiigh now i’m torn about whether i should simply order them online.
drinks at La Gazzetta.

yea this is my irritated wtf-yesterday-was-74-degrees-and-today-it’s-41-fucking-degrees look. i stole this jacket from sweetie, but it’s okay because i still let him wear it every once in awhile. the parka and blazer are actually attached as one piece. it’s even reversible– if you turn it inside out, instead of an orange parka under a black blazer, it looks like a black blazer under a green parka. it’s pretty funky.
