on the one hand, i find Bali almost too disconcertingly similar to the Philippines; a lot of it is the same, even some of the words in the different languages are very much alike. on the other hand, when it comes to service, the Balinese have an unquestionable mastery that’s unparalleled nearly any place else in the world due to an inherent philosophy that is vastly impressive and deeply admirable in its incredible benevolence and humility.
if things were different, i think i really could live here. at least for a little while.
these are the photos i’ve taken with my iPad, because i can’t get any of the pictures i’ve shot out of my camera. it seems my USB card reader is incompatible with Mac OSX 10.7 Lion.
just something to maybe keep in mind the next time you haul all your snazzy state of the art equipment halfway around the world.
i really would love to share more pictures from the shoot on Friday– which went really really great, by the way, thanks for asking :P
but obviously i don’t want give away too much and ruin it. you’ll get it, eventually. soon. ish.
sorry, everything that’s happening is still a wee bit of a ways off from coming all together, and of course i would love for you to get all psyched for the release of PX Me – The Sequel to PX This, but then again i wouldn’t want you to hold your breath or anything cuz that might not be so great for your lungs :(
anyway, Friday was sooo much fun. everybody was so cool and talented and professional and i realized i got very very very lucky finding people like this :)
